An older conceptual Illustration for a video game project.

"Day 29, the storm has moved on, but the ship is no where in sight. We have only a few days of supplies in the raft. We made an amazing discovery today. The head of an ancient statue half sunken into the lagoon, at the mouth of what looks like it could be the entrance to a partially submerged cave. The top of the statue is so covered in flora that it would just look like part of the natural surroundings from the sea. From this side though, the carvings remains remarkably intact, even after centuries, perhaps eon of weathering the elements; but who could have made it?"

Major Edit: Spruced this one up for a big contest. Basically I just spent another day on it fleshing out the details and bringing it up to my current skill level.

Not the brightest tribe of people. They cut down every tree on the island to make those stone moi statues, then starved to death because they had no wood to make tools or shelters.

They rolled the stones on the logs from the quarry to their location on the beach. By trying to make me look dumb, you just made yourself look dumb. Pahahahaha
