Another technical rotation of an important ship from the world of my comic book project "Shadow of Deimos".
The main purpose of these is so I can draw them the same way from panel to panel. Without these the drawings tend to morph over time.
A lot of you asked on my last 2 if I use 3D software. No I do not. But I do use guidelines (ruler and blue pencil on paper) and in photoshop as well. Here I erased most of them, but on the other earlier deviations they can be seen.
This ship is called "Martial Law". Of the four main character's ships, this one is the slowest, although it can also take the most punishment, and dish out the most firepower at close range. This heavy fighter was built mainly for space, but can operate in a very limited capacity in an atmosphere using antigravity stabilizers. This older layout of the hybrid fighter actually uses two completely separate thruster systems. This airframe was heavily modified around it's unique purpose built primary and non-lethal weapon system. The two large features at the front of the ship are EMP lances that rocket toward the enemy ship and overload it's electronics systems leaving it dead in the water. This is intended for live capture of fugitive bounties.
OMG - the win is overwhelming me. Your style rulz. However, I fear now that NDAA is in effect an AirForce version will be laying waste to my house when i wake up lol.
