Commission for Chop studio.

Will be part of an FPS I think.

This weapon is actually 3 weapons, the central part alone is a sub machine gun.

Add the stock with the discharge acceleration unit, the suppressor, and the scope and it becomes an assault rifle.

Add the bipod and the barrel extender and it becomes a sniper rifle.

Looks pretty cool. In the rules to the game that uses it, I imagine that the barrel extender has a limitation, like perhaps it can't take too much heat, so that the SMG fire rate is unusable when in sniper mode?

This is a very cool weapon design, the modular aspect is extremely sleek and works well with the overall design. However, the difficulty I would foresee with a weapon like this is that submachine guns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles use entirely different specialized forms of ammunition, which would require barrel changes, a modular receiver, etc. Unless of course it's not actually a firearm? Like maybe a directed energy weapon or something? I don't know, lol.

The studio who commissioned me envisioned everything to be interchangeable, including the bullets and the barrel. I think it would be a little beyond our current technology, but that is why sci-fi guns are fun!

oh i love multi attachment and interchangeable weaponry! and it has a nice futuristic feel to it, i was half expecting it to be a laser weapon (although those are completely illogical in RL). its a sleek futuristic look all in all very good.

This is a very good design. It reminds me of the G36, another modular weapon, but the fact the central part is a self-contained SMG (without any need for a separate barrel) makes it even better! I see a lot of impractical designs on DA, but this isn't one of them.
