After the surprising success of the first version of this piece I did last week. I decided to go back into it and make it really shine for a contest I am entering soon. This is the first of 5 pieces from my gallery that I will be revisiting and reworking for the contest. After looking at some of the past winners, I decided that a lot of my big panoramic vista scenes could be much improved with the addition of an interesting foreground element worked into the composition. In this case an original soldier design with a new weapon design as well. I hope you like what I've done with it. All the elements of the original are still there, but with some new elements too. I will leave the original up for the time being. Wish me luuuuuck!!! this contest could be very big for my young career.

ProlificPen is available for commissions year round! Email ydavros@gmail.com or note here for more information.

Well I have to say that adding this foreground was a really good choice :)

Hello.
I like so much this sketch. I'm working in a free sci-fi wargame rulebook, and I would like to have this illustration on it. Can be possible?

It is possible, but you would have to purchase the rights to use the image. Send me a note if you are still interested and I will go into more details.

The rulebook will be free, so we can't afford lot of expenses ha ha
But if the use rights are not very expensives we maybe can get them.

Well, thank you again for your interest in my work. However, I have long since stopped taking on free projects. As someone who does this sort of thing as a profession, demand for my work has steadily increased, and so do the rates I can charge. I tend to stay away from projects that have limited budgets these days. I hope you understand my position, but I have to eat and pay my bills too friend. However, if you would be interested in something custom for your project, I have no problem working within a budget, as I am very used to people here on dA asking me to do so. As long as it's reasonable, my paintbrushes are totally for sale. Send me a note or an email for specific rates. As for the illustration you mentioned, It is for sale, and we can talk about that too, just not here on my public comments section.

I think better we can use miniature photos for the book, and reduce cost.

Thanks for your time and attention.
